Re-imaging is a process by which a photograph of a maquette or small scale sculpture is combined with a photograph of a scene or specific site to transform that maquette to virtual life-size in that particular setting. May Marx is a world-renowned sculptor whose sculptures, many of which are small in scale, are, in feeling, monumental. The sculpture in the above example is 11" high. I suggested that we re-image some appropriate works. This opens the possibility for her to approach long-time corporate clients to propose large scale works for outdoor or lobby applications.
The resulting photograph clearly conveys the intended result to her client.
