Lacra B is in better condition than "A". These stones are set quite near the edge of the plateau on which all the circles were built. You can see the great views down over the Duddon estuary, and further round into the open sea.
Further to the west than these two shots we could make out the Isle of Man. The circle builders were accomplished sailors and had built monuments on the Isle as well as here.
Whether the sight of the Isle of Man affected the choice of site for these circles can now not be guessed.
