Here is a picture showing a very large outlying stone, now fallen, which has been used to locate a fence corner. Fascinating to see how the landscape under human effort changes through the centuries, but how echoes of old things remain long after their original purpose is lost.

An outlying stone from Langdean Bottom

I only read after visiting this circle that there were possible stone rows associated with Langdean Bottom. This line of rocks was just too inviting not to photograph it. But maybe they are true ancient remains.
