Meayll Hill may be a very rare site indeed, both the burial-place and the settlement of its people have been discovered.
Near are remains of hut-circles, a track runs from the south entrance of the circle. There is also a bit of Manx mystery about the circle, an army of ghostly horsemen has been seen to ride by on occasion, probably not Vikings, although the Island is full of them, this was much earlier.
