Tre’r Dryw Bach

To get to the Tre’r Dryw Bach group, cross the Menai bridge onto Anglesey, following the A5 initially but turning left onto the A4080 towards Bryn Siencyn and Newborough. Continue along the A4080, passing through Bryn Siencyn. About 2 miles beyond Bryn Siencyn, on the RHS of the road, there is a sign to Castell Bryn Gwyn by a turning point with a milk churn platform. Keep on for about ¾ mile and you will see the entrance, on the LHS, to Bryn Gwyn Hall. One hundred yards beyond this, just before the road bends left, there is a foot path sign on the RHS of the road where you can park. Assuming you park there, walk back up the road a few yards to a gate and looking along the hedge you will see the two large stones. You can reach these by going through the gate or (not so easy) using the foot path stiles. It is worth visiting Castell Bryn Gwyn while you are there. And, of course, enjoy the superb views of Snowdonia across the Menai Straits, if the weather permits.
