Shopping Cart Bumper

The concierge device is an interactive touch screen system for grocery carts that augments the shopping experience by delivering unobtrusive, individually tailored content and shopping tools. Edey FX was responsible for component design, testing, prototyping, and the fabrication of trade show models before I worked there.

In front of the Concierge device you can see a bumper I worked on, designed to eliminate an interference issue between successive custom shopping carts for the Concierge device. The bumper was machined out of production material for strength and fit testing as well as verifying geometry for injection molding.
