| Project Background |
This project was done for the Design Exchange National Student Design Competition put on by Dupont and the Design Exchange. The challenge was to design, in a group, an adjustable and comfortable injury preventive safety guard for limbs, hands or feet which could be fabricated from Hytrel. The design must be robust, demonstrate commercial value, creativity, production feasibility, and attention to universal, sustainable design. Our project won 3rd prize. |
