Folding Rocking Chair Plans

During a four month co-op term at Lee Valley Tools I had the opportunity to work on creating plans and instructions for two folding rocking chairs.

"In the late 1850's, the Collignon brothers of New Jersey recognized this opportunity and invented the first in a long line of folding rocking chairs. Based on their designs, we've developed plans and a hardware kit for two chairs that preserve the likeness and compact folding first created by the Collignon brothers.
Both plans include fully diagrammed instructions and full size templates for all the curved pieces. The pivoting hardware kits comprise the stainless steel bolts, fender washers and lock nuts that would be otherwise difficult to find." © Lee Valley Tools Ltd.
