Personal Details

I noted there are a few Benoit Tremblay online thus I should add that I am the one who studied physics at McGill University (1987-1990), received a PhD from Rutgers University (1997), worked as a postdoc at the hospital of the university of Pennsylvania (1997-1999), moved to Ottawa (ON) in 1999 and is now father of Charlotte.

Work

Up to 2009-July-24, I was employed at Hewlett-Packard of Canada. My section was restructured and development work by HP in Ottawa ceased.

In July 2010, I worked as a consultant/Mr-Fix-it for the Canadian Federation of University Women for a few months. In January 2011 I was hired as a software engineer for Iridian Spectral Technology for a 1 year term contract. I am a professional sofware troubleshooter.

U Ottawa: I was hired to teach PHY2390 in the Fall of 2010, PHY1122 inthe summer of 2010, PHY4395 in the fall of 2008 and during the summers of 2007 and 2006, PHY 1322.
