GEMS is an exciting program for girls aged 7 to 12. We meet every Wednesday night from October to April, from 6:30 to 8:00 PM. It is full of fun, activity and learning through Bible study, badges, crafts and service projects.

GEMS will start this year with an registration night on October 1, 2008 at 6:30 pm.

What does the Lord require of you? Whether you've answered that question reciting Micah 6:8 at GEMS Girls' Clubs for 50 years, or you've heard its truth quoted for the very first time, His command is unchanged. It is for all generations: God's children must act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with God.

Each year the ministry focuses on an annual theme. This year, as we celebrate our 50th Anniversary, GEMS Annual Theme is based on Micah 6:8 – which has been the guiding verse and aim of GEMS for years. "He has showed you O man (O daughter), what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God."

All season, GEMS will be celebrating the breadth of God’s faithfulness to this ministry over the past 50 years. We have a special 50th Anniversary DVD that tells the story of Calvinettes/GEMS and also offers a fun and interactive badge for girls to complete while learning more about the history of GEMS. We praise God for the work He has done, and continues to do, in and through this ministry! Check out the history of GEMS to see how far we’ve come!
