Many of us long to build a boat out of pieces of wood larger than strips. We have searched for some time for something that is refreshingly different. Our search took us from Dunrobin, Ontario, Canada to the vicinity of Dunrobin Castle in Scotland where Iain Oughtred resides.
We feel honoured that Iain Oughtred, world known designer/builder from Scotland has allowed us to distribute plans for his designs wherever you may reside. At this time a partial kit for Elf is available. The detailings on his designs are simply elegant. Remarkably seaworthy and lightweight "Elf" is ideal for anyone including children to learn to sail and row or for simply messing about.
We are sure you will agree
that Elf is a true classic on it's own.
