KIT DESIGNS
We at Classic Boat Kits are solely devoted to providing reasonably priced kits for canoes, kayaks and rowboats. Our specialty is in the manufacture of bead & cove strips in various species of wood and in various sizes to accomodate your design. Provided that the species is light in weight, you may build from any species that you like. It is truly a matter of personal taste.
If you are interested in a great way to apply strips without nails or staples, try out our Fiber Tape - Dowel Method. It really is surprisingly simple and anyone can do it. Be prepared to spend a little extra time and the results will be well worth it. Many of our customers have been using our method with excellent results. After all that work and effort to buld a shiny hull of beautiful wood do you really want to puncture it with nail or staple holes?

Kits are available for Bear Mountain boats. We can also make up full or partial kits for any design.
