Fishing:
For the most part fishing has been excellent in recent years
and it keeps getting better all the time.
The conservation- and revitalization efforts seem to be showing tremendous results.
This year's highlight was an 11 lb walleye caught in late July.
Just as tender and juicy as the smaller ones, it provided a delicious feast for 8 persons !
Choice of accommodation:
fisherman cabin or modern family chalet.
You have a choice between a rustic fishing cabin or a newly built chalet, still very affordable.
Demand for the chalet is great; be sure to book early.
Cell phone service:
If your service provider is Bell or any of its affiliates - i.e. Telus,
you will be able to use your cell phone (Rogers does not work).
As we are situated at the very fringes of the service area
you may have to walk around a little to find adequate reception -
but it usually works quite well in the middle of the lake.
Be sure to top up your batteries as there is no electricity in your cabin.
Our email access to is quite limited -
please keep your messages in plain text only, with no stationary or fancy adornments.

Method of payment:
We still cannot process any debit/credit card transactions on-site.
However (and better still) you may pay your deposit and pre-pay your account
via personal email money transfer.
If you're not yet familiar with this very convenient and extremely secure function
of your web banking, ask us - we will be happy to provide info.
