Interpretation
Interpretation is the art of explaining knowledge simply and
clearly. The understanding this provides is essential to using
the knowledge in any further context.
As the twenty-first century approaches, everyone's access
to data is increasing. Most of us can accumulate more facts than
we know what to do with. "Facts" are not necessarily
information. Unless you understand what they mean, they can clutter
up your life like a lot of meaningless junk. Unless you interpret
them correctly, they can actually create mis-understanding, and
set you off on a tangent that burns time without any useful return.
Interpretation is a bridge. It is often required to explain
professional conclusions in ordinary language. It can be used
to explain the findings of one profession to another, the point
of view of one cultural group to another, the meaning of an archaic
device to modern life. Conversely, interpretation can groom a
specific message to reach a diverse audience successfully.
Interpretation selects the most effective focus for communication.
It identifies the most relevant development information. It chooses
the most suitable medium for presentation. We have outgrown the
age of "the medium is the message". Today, a message
needs content plus medium in order to reach it's audience effectively.
Who uses our service?
Anyone with a need for clear communication. We are specialists
in content, familiar with the demands of a multi-disciplinary
environment. We have provided and co-ordinated the content of
major public presentations involving engineers, architects, designers,
and / or visual media specialists. We have created bridges between
the knowledge of widely divergent professional groups (i.e. humanistic
/ arts and science /scientific technology). We work in both the
public and the private sector. We do work with marketting people
to implement content suitability, clarity and integrity.
