The losing streak is over!

The Windsor Lancers have come off their losing streak which dates back two years plus. Their 40-8 homecoming victory over the University of Toronto Varsity Blues can best be described as dominating.

QB Morgan Gallagher passed for three touchdowns while receiver Mike Krsul caught two of those, running for 118 yards and Head Coach Mike Morencie appeared even more determined after the victory. "It's about time. We've been working really hard and the guys deserve it" Morencie said. "But we also have to get down to business because we have to be ready on thursday to play Laurier."

The one and three Lancers travel to Waterloo on thursday evening to play the Laurier Golden Hawks. The good news is that the Lancers were able to get some breaks to go their way. The offence lit up the scoreboard and the defence, led by veteran Damian Porter held the Blues to only 134 yards of total offence.

"This was a total team effort" Porter said. "But we can't sit back and celebrate. We've got to be ready to go again on thursday."
