October 30, 2009 ... At present we face our new challenges. As you probably know, we have the Home-Based Care Project at our parish here. The main problem we have now is the care of the babies - children of AIDS/HIV affected mothers, who cannot continue breast-feeding in order not to infect from their mothers. The way forward is to feed them with powdered milk which costs about $7.00 per tin - one tin is only for one week per child. At present we try to help 27 children and the number is still growing. Fr.
