Do you have photographs of a relative, grandfather, great-uncle
or great grandfather who enlisted in Ottawa's famous Battalion?
If you have pictures, stories, diaries or obituaries for members
of the 38th, please contact me to help conserve some of Canada's
great military heritage. To those who have contributed photographs
and stories to this project, I express my sincere thank you. |

Over 3000 men joined this Battalion from its inception
in 1914 until the end of the First World War. The initial draft,
as well as the first and second reinforcing drafts are indexed
in Adobe Acrobat format (.pdf). If you need Adobe Acrobat, please
use the link on my home page. These files vary from 190 k in
size for the first and second drafts to 700 k for the initial
draft. This information consists of the recruit's name, date
of enlistment, rank, former corps, name & address of next
