Over 3000 men joined this Battalion from its inception in 1914 until the end of the First World War. The initial draft, as well as the first and second reinforcing drafts are indexed in Adobe Acrobat format (.pdf). If you need Adobe Acrobat, please use the link on my home page. These files vary from 190 k in size for the first and second drafts to 700 k for the initial draft. This information consists of the recruit's name, date of enlistment, rank, former corps, name & address of next of kin, birth place, location taken on strength.
