Bob and Bruce are the perfect musical compliment. Bob's keyboard style creates a "Bass / Piano duo".
Now enter the third member of the group "Marvin our drummer". The Roland R8 human rhythm composer provides state-of-the-art digitized drum sounds and Bob's been programming these machines for more than 20 years. So here's a tight, dynamic "Bass / Piano / Drums trio".
Now add the thirty years experience of Bruce on tenor saxophone & clarinet and you've got a four-piece-band sound that makes it hard not to dance to.
Bob has been playing piano and/or organ in various musical groups since 1966. He started working as a 'single act' in 1977. He arrived in the capital city in 1985 and quickly became a favourite with several local golf/country clubs, the Officers' Mess at Uplands and private clubs such as the Laurentian Club and the Rideau Club.
Bruce has been playing professionally since 1974 paying his dues with an Italian wedding band specializing in traditional Spanish, Portuguese and Italian music including a significant amount of lounge and middle of the road rock. He has also been involved with and organized a number of swing - jump bands both singing and playing tenor sax has also played quite extensively in various R&B bands ranging from 50s - 60s show bands through to county, funk, jazz and blues.
