How you can Jamaican children who show talent for dancing

The contributions that The Ballet Centre makes to the development of talented Jamaicans and indirectly to the promotion of indigenous Jamaican cultural pursuits can be greatly enhanced by extending its teaching staff and facilities and strengthening its outreach among groups of Jamaican children who might not have all the means to afford the equipment and transportation required to obtain training at The Ballet Centre. You can help these youngsters in a number of ways:

• By sponsoring full or partial scholarships or by providing resources that can be used to help needy scholars to enter and stay in the training programme (your use of the fact that your organization has provided such sponsorship and of selected information about the individuals who have benefited from you help can be negotiated with the Centre's Director)
• By providing advertising and information resources that the Ballet Centre can use to improve its efforts to bring information concerning the Centre's training opportunities into a larger segment of Jamaica's communities
• By contributing salary funding to allow the Centre to acquire additional regular teaching staff or particular outstanding teachers from abroad for special occasions
• By donating special equipment or facilities that many students will be able to use to enhance the benefits they will gain from participating in the Centre's training program
• By purchasing blocks of seats at public performances staged by the Ballet Centre's students
• By contributing some of your time or that of your staff members to promotional and other activities of The Ballet Centre.
