The
Chishtiya Inayati of Canada has been created as a non-profit organization, in
the hope of bringing together like-minded people, who wish to actively
participate in the creation of an environment that, under the guidelines of an
interfaith, open-minded, spiritual vision, supports its members. |
|
The
essential teaching of the Chishtiya Inayati of Canada's vision is one of
tolerance, love, and compassion, which each individual needs to cultivate in
his/her heart. |
|
What we have
to offer is best promoted in a sacred atmosphere of trust, respect and
confidence. Once experienced this atmosphere encourages the cultivation and
expression of the clear light of love. |
|
It is within
the vision of the Chishtiya Inayati of Canada to a have a physical location to
serve as a center for the members of its community. Promoting interactions and
familiarity with the teachings of Pir-o-Murshid Hazrat Inayat Khan, whose
vision is our inspiration, and whose teachings are our guide lines. |
|
We are
committed to educate, support, and facilitate the transition of those who are
awakening to the potentiality of their humanity. |
|
Faith has no
caste or creed. It belongs to all who are willing to search in the silence of
their heart. Regardless of the rise or fall of theologies, faith is not bound
by form, but to be found in life itself. |
|
Therefore we
regard service as the highest expression of the teaching. The mind divides, the
heart unites; our purpose is to express the unifying light of the heart, in the
social forum. |
|
We are
united in service with all who, in the words of Hazrat Inayat Khan, "search the
sacred manuscript of nature, the only scripture which can enlighten." |
