AER Little Current - Loading Ramp

Little Current Loading Ramp

This loading ramp does not appear on the 1930 AER plan book, although it could well date back to that time. The loading ramp stood on the west side of the siding serving the Manitoulin Stock Yards, just to the north of the warehouse siding switch. Although it is obviously some sort of ramp to load commodities into hopper cars, just what was shipped from this loading ramp is unknown. It was apparent in 1976 that the facility had not been used for quite a while, although a fairly new looking tag, with "1" on it was affixed to the side of the structure next to the tracks.

The loading ramp was demolished sometime during the 1980s.
