In order to illustrate the use of tablature an example is given which uses many of the concepts discussed so far. The following tablature for the beginning of "Stairway to Heaven" by Led Zeppelin combines single notes, multiple simultaneous notes and chords. Also, in this example, the transcription has been divided into sections, partly for clarity, but mostly to avoid repetition.
