"THE UNIVERSE OF KNOWLEDGE"

While the circuit board house was being built, ideas came up about living by the Gatineau River yet still being able to be connected to the rest of the world by the Internet.  We discussed notions of connection...rivers of knowledge and the limitless universe of information provided via computers.  cjf

A number of computer workers donated used circuit boards to the concertation project.  Lashing these to a house shaped industrial weight copper screen,  the team created a low-relief sculpture comprised of a house and a 2'X16' painted river and 'child like' sky scene.   A  father/daughter team  mounted these components onto a wall in the computer lab above a bank of computer terminals.
