"The Student's Gesture"
A Small Text Based Work of Art:
Grades 4-6 The Project Team

A small piece now mounted on the entry hall stairwell was created on a diamond-shaped piece of aluminum plate, using letter and number punches.  Students wearing safety glasses hammered out their design of an open hand and a decorative border.  A closer look reveals bilingual sentences about learning and play.  Students helped each other with the text and technical steps.
