Miriam Illman-White was born in Yorkton Saskatchewan and has lived in four provinces. She is currently a first year Carleton University student studying sociology and a variety of other things.
Miriam was born and raised in the United Church and has been an active United Church member for as long as she can remember. She has been an active leader for Children’s Worship, Sunday School and Youth Groups within her church communities. Miriam is full of energy and passion for faith and for providing opportunities for young people to explore their faith and the world around them. She is a self-confessed theology enthusiast and loves talking faith, life and theology with anyone anywhere. Miriam intentionally creates a safe environment to explore and talk about some of the things that affect us most as Christians, as young people, and as human beings!
When Miriam isn’t hanging around a United Church (or School), you can find her walking around town (almost definitely singing), acting, swimming, talking about faith, or just incredibly lost. She never brings a map.
