Here are three photos taken on the Chalk River bridge (dirt road to the Petawawa National Forestry Institute) on 1997 October 10 at about midnight.

The first two photos were taken with a tripod mounted Nikon 401x, on Fuji 400 ASA print film at exposures of 45 seconds @ f3.8 with a Nikon 35-70 mm zoom lens on (wide angle) . At different times, the aurora covered approximately 180 degrees of sky both horizontally and vertically.

The shot of the lake was taken at the same time but in the opposite direction (exposure ~3 minutes).
