Semoptics manufactures a variety of P47 Powder Scintillators. P47 Powder Scintillators give increased output over single crystal scintillators at a reduced cost. The P47 powder is deposited on clear glass disks. It is then chemically locked onto the glass disk. The disk is then coated with an ultra-thin Formvar film and aluminized to reflect the scintillation down the light guide. If your instrument has an integral scintillator/light guide, consider Semoptic's modified light guide which incorporates our glass disk based scintillator for easy, economical replacement. |
