  • Hi All, As you have seen, the guestbook has been closed for entries since Yule 2005. This is because of the endless spam sent through our guestbook. We have tried to provide a service for free but we haven't got the time to police so many attacks everyday the guestbook has been closed for several years now.
This seems such a shame as we had so many great entires going back many years and now we have missed out on the last few years
We still love to receive any comment you may have about the site or general questions of any kind, please email us

Thank you, The Yeti's Lair: Summer Solstice/Litha/Mid-Summer 2008

I love this website. The spells and information are hard to find anywhere else. I had the privilage of finding this site when I first started practicing magic and now that i'm a little rusty lol it's extremely helpful and getting back into it. Another thought, I'm considering becoming a dominatrix, if anyone is in the San Diego area and wants to encourage me or teaches classes in that line of work please email me at

I am searching for my missing 17 year old daughter. Her name is Rebecca "Becca" Berry. She was last heard from 2/6/2003. She was living in San Diego CA. She was very involved in pagan, wicca, magic, etc. I love her and miss her. If anyone can get info to her please just tell her I love her and that I had to move but want to hear from her. You can find a picture of her on the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Take a look and see how beautiful she is and you will understand how my heart is breaking. Here is a link to her picture. The link for Becca's picture is:

In reference to the last guestbook entry regarding child custody. There may be more issues than just being pagan at work here. You did not say how old you are/economic situation/alcohol/drugs/etc etc. There are many pagans fighting to ensure they have the same rights as anyone. However; on a purely pagan basis here are some links to support and legal advice:

    Helpful Child Custody/Divorce Related WebSites

    Google search links

    Hope this has been helpful.

I am a new pagan and i came for advice i am going to court to get custody of my five year old. My mother does not aprove of my pagan faith so she is trying to keep him from me i have done a spell on my own to make the court case go in my favor but any advise would be highly appreciated blessed be,melissa hale

As a teenager, I felt compelled to seek out different spiritual practices, namely Paganism and other occult realms. I was baptized a Roman Catholic, but began questioning the fibres and morals when I reached the age of eight. I always felt that there had to be deeper answers to the questions in my life. My spiritual quest was postponed when I had children (five in all right now), but my longing for something strange and wonderful never ceased. Now, my nine-year-old daughter is beginning to express many of the same interests and my question is, where do I start? Luckily, I am an open-minded person, and will not stifle her natural curiousity. I would appreciate any information that can point me in the right direction, and I will definitely enjoy browsing through this website! Thanks!

TO THE PERSON WHO MADE THE LAST 2 ENTRIES IN THE GUEST BOOK ABOUT WANTING TO BE A SATANIST: Hi, If you are being serious, you are hurting in a big way. Most pagan religions have nothing to do with Christianity and therefore nothing to do with "the devil" or "Satan" Even Christian based religions that do worship "Satan" such as satanists or Anton Levay's Church of Satan, do not condone evil acts or anti-social acts. You sound as if life has treated you very badly and you should be seeking therapeutic counselling not religion. Other than that, rememberer, everything changes with time. Life will look better, but life is what you see through your eyes and your personal perspective. Change your perspective and the world will change right before your eyes. We hope you feel better soon. Stay good, you will be happier in the end. The Yeti's Lair

I wish to join a religion of Devil worship. It has become abundantly clear to me that the Devil is winning and that there will be no Armageddon. The only fate for virtuous souls it to be punished here on earth in the insideous and cruel ways. he meek shall nebver imherit the earth, tje Freemasons will and quite frankly I would rather have peace and abundance now and live in the depths of hell for all eternity if I could just have my just rewards now. If I could just laugh in the face of my evil tormenters and turn their own eveil power upon them. I should die a happy death no matter where I go.The lord has foresaken me and left me to the most utter of pains and anguish and so he either does not exist or he is cruel or he is useless against the powers of the Devil. I want to be on the side that is winning. I want to devote my talents and heart to the Devil if for no toher reason than to spite the lies that were told to me by the Catholic church to which I had dedicated my life and my acts and every thought in connection to my neighbour. I have many talents and I am free to do the Devil's work without fear of imprisonment or even death. I simply want to reak teh same pain that I have endured and do it in the Devil's name. I am not kidding when I say I will do anything that is planned for evil ends.

"For a couple o' pins," says Troll, and grins, "I'll eat thee too, and gnaw thy shins. A bit o' fresh meat will go down sweet! I'll try my teeth on thee now. Hee now! See now! I'm tired o' gnawing old bones and skins; I've a mind to dine on thee now." But just as he thought his dinner was caught, He found his hands had hold of naught. Before he could mind, Tom slipped behing And gave him the boot to larn him. Warn him! Darn him! A bump o' the boot on the seat, Tom thoguht, Would be the way to larn him. But harder than stone is the flesh and bone Of a troll that sits in the hills alone. As well set your boot to the mountain's root, For the seat of a troll don't feel it. Peel it! Heal it! Old Troll laughed, when he heard Tom groan, And he knew his toes could feel it. Tom's leg is game, since home he came, And his bootless foot is lasting lame; But Troll don't care, and he's still there With the bone he boned from its owner. Doner! Boner! Troll's old seat is still the same, And the bone he boned from its owner! -- J. R. R. Tolkien

Dear Yeti, I am a solitary Witch who has stumbled over the discovery of what & who I am; finding oneself is not an easy road but a very rewarding one. Since age 3 I was amazed how I could communicate with All of Nature and every aspect of Nature; from birds, insects, plants to name a few. All of my 33 years since age 3 could not put into words why I could either dream things of future events to healing myself and others and being so intuned with All of Nature and at the same time being very Wise about it. My prayers seem to affect everyone and myself when I would either make a wish or ask a question for an-answer. At times my abilities would frighten me to a point in which I would just stop completely; but I have grown out of those fears and have accepted my abilities and have leaned a new word for them: Witch Craft or Wise Art. But I am seeking for a School of Witch Craft for adults like myself here in Toronto; but have been unable to find one as yet. I have been doing my own independent study at home by reading the Book of Witch-Craft from the School of Witch Craft which is located in the U.S. If you have any suggestions, I would truly be very appreciated. Blessed Be. :)

I'm glad u have this page. I think it helps to bring people together. My story is about the RUNES and how they entered in my life. At 17 I was hit by a car, they say i died and was in a comma for 8 days. After i woke up NOTHING changed...... FOR years i was blind I did not even know i was dead or in a comma for that matter as i had my accedent in Que. They are all french I'm english..Any way when I woke up it was like i was just asleep for a second. I don't rember anyone asking me anything or helping me either.I wanted to speek to the couple that hit me BUT they were worried i'd sue. So i got no news about what happened. All i know is i was on my bike then woke up in hospital... They did tell me i did not stop for a 4 way stop. Any ways about 15 years later I find old picture, I had baught a few rune letters from the omaga book store NOT knowing what they were... IN fact i found a story about "Tobe" the story was about an magical thingy asking me to eat a mushroom and that all would be ok cause i'd come back to tell ...BUT when i came back NO one belived me. it's all in the story. NOT sure how i reconized it BUT i ran I mean I got to the omaga book store as fast as i could go. Showed the women a few pics that i drew as a child. One of then was of this person on a horse running with an F on the page. She told me that it mean RUNES... I got all the books i could on runes.. I told her about the small carvings that i piced up a few years earlyier. SHE looked and me and was a taken aback. NOT sure what she was thinking. Any way then as i read more about the runes i became facinated and overwhelmed. Moreover I don't really know anyone that really believes in Gods only a few. I'm hoping to meet others as MY story is more interesting then meets the eye. I just think that it's time for me to become more connected to a life style that reflects RUNE love and natures respect. I'm looking forward to connecting with others on this topic.....johanne

IN response to the last two guestbook entries:
We don't want to be rude, but... Frankly, we are a bit amazed that you couldn't find any spells on our website. (we have direct links to many thousands of spells - however; we don't publish our personally created magic or spells) Did you try using our search engine to search for "spells" ?? Working magic takes a lot of concentration and perseverance, certainly considerably more effort than looking for spells on our website. There are no quick fixes, this takes great effort. Don't look for easy answers, there are none! Before you start thinking that sounds mean, let us explain: The reason we don't hand out out our spells is because we firmly believe all Wiccans, after study and/or training, should write their own. There is nothing wrong with using spells in books or on web pages, as long as they are used as guidelines or associations for writing your own spell. There are many reasons for this. A lot of new Witches might try a spell word-for-word out of a book and not know what many components of the spell mean or what they are for. Therefore, the spell will not work. It's not the words you say that make the spell work, it's the intent and the energy. If you don't know the meaning of what you are doing, how can it be an effective spell? If you write your own spell or ritual, you will know the meaning and significance of every word and action contained in that spell, thus your magickal working will be full of power. All that being said, here are the locations on our website which contain references to thousands of spells other people have written and chosen to publicly publish.

I have learned alot over the past two years, and it is because of Awen that I came upon your town. I do not believe in coinsidences. Everything has it's own time and meaning.I relize I hav'nt even been to pre-school in my education and belief's on Druidism. But I am a Celt by Blood and Druid by Nature. I have been doing these things just about all my life. But I never knew what it was called. My name "Douglas" actually means "Seeker of Truth" last name Dunn(Dune). I am Faol, Feb 6/69 and for the first time the pieces of the puzzle are all joining together harmoniously. I am looking for keepers of the old traditions,as well as the new. So that I may continue to learn who I truly am and who I was and who I shall be.Thanks again, Love your site! So Be It! Dune

Gday,I've been a practicing Wiccan now for about ten odd years,I'm 29 and the father of a bunch of kids- aarrrrr(damn fertility cult)! Anyway, it's good to see the mix of stuff here. Personaly I had big trouble being a worshipper of nature divine and living in a world that seemed hellbent on the destruction and corruption of all that I held dear. Nearly drove me over the edge in a big way. Then a mate of mine put the Tao Te Ching in my hands and let me tell ya, it's given my life and spiritul path a whole new meaning. Anyway, there isn't much going on in S.A.(unless you count people more interested in the status of 'witch' than spiritual and interlectual developement so i'm chuffed to see an eclectic sight such as this one. On ya! Have a good one guys and dont let ya cats kill any native animals like they tend to do over here. Blessed be.

Love your site! Love the cats! Do you know anything about manx cats? Is that a breed or a mutation? We have a 'mama' manx, "KittenFish" (I didn't name her...) who I found in the woods. Now she has 4 children and one is a manx. I started to study the Craft around 20 years ago when I lived in Atlanta. My daughter (18) and I are both drawn to it as nature. I am interested in finding anything I can find on humans communication with animals...I think they have some things to share with us if we teach ourselves to listen. My sons and I have gotten involved this summer with a project in our area, that rescue and rehabilitate horses. Its a wonderful and rewarding experience for us. Blessed Be!

In your Wicca section (I'm a 3rd degree Gardnerian) you mention that thousands died during "the burning times". One of my pet peeves is the bandying about of a 9 million figure. It's even in a song. When I first heard a figure I think it was 6 million and it may have been in one of Gardener's books. But to my knowledge there is no evidence of this, and now it's up to 9 million. A feminist Herstory wet dream, I think. Anyway I was glad you didn't use the inflated figures. BB

This site is really great! Well, I have to say after over 2 years of trying to find myself and my beliefs, I've finally been enlightened. I'm 26 and in college to become a high school math teacher. While in college, one of my professors helped answer a lot of my questions about Wicca and other pre-christian religions. Now, I read everything I can get my hands on and practice almost as much as I learn. Problem is, I need guidance and this is not the county to get it from. If anyone could help me get in touch with someone to teach me, guide me, and reassure me of my rituals I would be so thankful. While practicing and teaching myself has greatly improved my life and confidence, I need friends and family to share it with. :) Email me with ANY suggestions!! Thanks bunches!

    The Yeti Replies:
    Dear Rosemary,
We don't want to be rude, but... Frankly, we are a bit amazed that you couldn't find any spells on our website. You couldn't have been looking very hard (we have direct links to many thousands of spells - however; we don't publish our personally created magic or spells) Did you even try using our search engine to search for "spells" ?? Working magic takes a lot of concentration and perseverance, certainly considerably more effort than you apparently used in looking for spells on our website. There are no quick fixes, this takes great effort. Don't look for easy answers, there are none! Before you start thinking that sounds mean, let us explain: The reason we don't hand out our spells is because we firmly believe all Wiccans, after study and/or training, should write their own.

    Wiccan Spell Books-Click Here
    Chaos Spells-Click Here

Witch for 10 years, new to chaos magic - what drew me in was someone else's "Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Teletubby" (now who, with a functioning sense of humor, could resist that?). I like this stuff and will find ways (and people) be taught more. I've seen the "Unlawful Carnal Knowledge etymology of the f-word respected a lot but sorry - that isn't how it came about. There are no recorded instances of the word before 1840, so really, we just don't know, and likely never will, how it came into English. Oddly, I have never seen any research which might pinpoint its origin in German, a language I think most likely, given the construction of the word itself. Any thoughts? Any info? And, just to be really clear, I'm not fuckin' afraid to say it.

Its good to see some Mages who have humility and a carefree attitude, I guess thats what Chaos magick is all about but ;). Its hard to find spiritualists who arnt dogmatic or who dont have a poll wedged up their ass. Keep up the good work, "we" are a dying breed, but always out there somewhere. Love and Light PP.

BTW: We also have two cats, one is diabetic (insulin injections twice a day) and the other is prone to urinary tract infections and needs a special diet. Whoever said cats are low maintenance never met ours! :-{)>

This is a pretty good site. I like the face of the Green Man at the upper left hand side. I recently found out I have witches in my family, thats good to know since I have been a Witch for three years now. There Irish and live in the Appalchian Mountains which is where some Wiccan's are said to have migrated to. You need more Crowley and Traditional Satanism on this cite, which i feel like we can learn alot from both. Well all and all pretty good work, needs more pics though. Blessed Be. The All Is One! Your site is wonderful. I see many hours of enjoyment poking around in my near future. On and off for 25 years I've studied various beliefs and practices. To see such information linked in one site is a gift that I hope many others will come to and learn from. Currently I teach a select few a form of magic based on the commonalities amongst religions and practices which I discovered throughout the years. Perhaps someday either myself or one of my students will build a page to join your links. Again, good job!

Thanks for such a great site!!! Unfortunately it's hard to find people writing about religions like Santeria without using despective words... but when I find people who can really talk about these subjects being ojective and using the brain I feel very comfortable! I consider myself an atheist, but I'm so interested in the origins of the Majority and Minority religions (cristianistic or not) and their origins... it's so interesting finding out that their origins are the same.... If someone wants to talk about these things can e-mail me at P.D. The page has a great look also... Well done Yeti couple :-)

This is something like the fifth time I have been here. I love your cats, and I love your page. It was somewhat disappointing to learn that Druidism is so "in the dark", as I was looking to find a particular Pagan religion that I could completely agree with and I had hoped that Druidism would be the answer. From what I heard it sounded pretty close. Everywhere I have been has given me a very vague description, your page was a lot more helpful. I will definitely return here, it has become my main source of information concerning Paganism, you've done an extremely good job!

I think it's great that you have a page that tells the facts about being Wiccan. I know this guy who calls me a devil worshipper behind my back because I told him I was a witch. I sent him this page in an email and accompanied it by saying "HA! I'm Wiccan and damn proud of it, too! Guess what? I DON'T BELIEVE IN THE DEVIL! Ha!!!!" So thanks for letting me clear things up for that ignorant, thick-headed person!

Dearest folks...I like the site...I have had one problem as of late...Why do so many of us seek to make a religion out of a spiritual system? Certainly an organizational approach is subject to the same pitfalls of every major religion. I guess that I became pagan, well ritualized high magick, so that I would not be a sheep in a flock...I have investigated some of the organizations in the surrounding area..and am very dissapointed...arenas for social climbing and hypocracy...I guess that motives differ...I could give a shit less wether impress anyone or make friends...I just want to intergrate the two branches of my 'tree'. anyways I do like your site and in total i really like the internet community...I just wish that the real communities could stop the mundane ego shit...peace...jason

In the spirit of equal time for all, we have left the following comment in our guestbook; however, we have added our response to it. Feel free to either e-mail the author Kris ( or us, with your comments. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- How can you all worship nature when nature can not give you any happiness when you die? I worship the only God Almighty and because of it, I am guaranteed a mansion in Heaven. Remember, JESUS LOVES YOU!!!!!! <>< Kris Port Isabel, USA - Tuesday, May 11, 1999 at 19:13:08 (EDT) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi Kris: Thanks for your question. We do not "worship" nature, for that matter, we do not worship anything or anyone. We are part of nature, and nature is part of us. (Did you know that air that you are breathing now was once in the lungs of a dinosaur, or that the iron in your blood was once part of a star.) Of this we remind ourselves, and this enables us to treat everyone and everything around us as we would treat ourselves. Nature won't give us happiness when we die, but it fulfills us to brimming here on earth. When we die, we will go back to the earth (ashes to ashes, dust to dust). It is not important to us to have mansions, possessions, or have our souls saved. Our souls are ours, not to be judged by anyone but us, on our deathbeds. This is where we will determine if we have been good people, if we have tried to develop and better ourselves. If we have been kind and thoughtful, ethical and truthful. No-one tells us to do this, we decide for ourselves. It is a matter of self-responsibility, of realizing that there are consequences in the here and now for our actions. We do not worry about what happens after we die, we want to be the best we can, here. Thank you for your wishes, and we are glad that you have found happiness in the worship of your deity. Brightest blessings.

I would like to add a link to your site from mine if you have no objections.

Hi Great site! I've been learning about Magick for years, but haven't yet found anyone who seems to be able to make it work, my rituals haven't met with any success either, but I'm convinced Magick can and does work. I really like your view of the subject, being analytical, the Chaos angle really appeals to me. I've downloaded a lot of information and intend to study it carefully. Great sense of humour by the way! Thank you for all the hard work you must have put in in getting this site together. Love your photos.

In response to the previous entry on the spelling of "magic": In studying over two hundred pagan religions, we have found at least five different spellings of MAGIC. How each pantheon spells its version is a matter of their tradition. As a pagan you should respect other people's religious customs and not try and enforce your system on anyone else. This is what differentiates us from most "organized religions" as we don't attempt to claim our way is the only way. (See the Christian Crusades). If, in your belief system, you require the spelling "MAGICK" to differentiate your workings from the Mundane tricksters, we respect that; so if we choose to spell it "magic" please understand that we are not alikening it to stage magic (although theatrical magic has a tradition older than a lot of neo-pagan systems, and has a code of secrecy stricter than some Ceremonial systems) and respect that. If your tradition has a magickal system that works for you, why worry what others call it? Brightest Blessings ! Magickly Yours, The Yeti's Lair.

We are also two ordinary people, but with two extra-ordinary cats; Scout and Irish. Oh, it is such a long story, but as you are cat lovers I (Bradley), will tell you in short how they came to us! Liam and i moved in together. He travels a lot with work. Although we were not permitted to keep animals in our apartment, Liam begged our landlord to let us have a cat, to keep me company while he was away. Fnally, the landlord agreed. We went to the local animal shelter and found Scout, a tiny kitten. The caretakers warned us that she might have some difficulties with sight, for she had come in contact with a bacterial infection while in the shelter. We didn't care - we were in love with her right away! As it turns out, Scout is a runt with a cloudy eye. However, we learned early on that she loves to play and is able to fetch on command! The first toy we ever bought for her, a wooley mouse, is her favorite plaything even now, two years later. About 2 monthes after we got Scout, I started telling Liam how I wanted an orange kitty to call "Irish" and how cute I thought that would be. Around that time I received an invitation to visit my friend, Ro who worked at a farm in Pennsylvania. I went to visit Ro. As I was about to leave, she asked me if I had seen the beautiful little kitten in the barn. I had not. We walked into the barn, opened the door where the barn cats stayed and there he was; a puff of red fur with extra toes, blue eyes and a pink nose. It was my "Irish." With the bleesing of the owner of the farm, i took Irish home - scared as to how Liam, and especially Scout, would react to the new member of our family. Amazingly, as I opened the box to let Scout smell and touch her new companion, I noticed that Scout was almost helping me. She wanted to know this new cat! Immediatedly they became friends, Scout licking him, taking the place of his mother although she was barely 3 months old. I have made this a long story afterall. But I just wanted to share with you the amazment I have everyday, seeing them with each other, like they were born of the same. They sleep like Ying and Yang. They clean each other. Irish sits and gives paw upon command, Scout still fetches. They re truly like our children! I don't even know how i got to your site. I was looking for infomation about Druids. I am reading "The Mists of Avalon" - have you read it?

Big beautiful cats you have there. Mine are only half the size, but I'm sure that they are as much fun!

As the only person to ever dance on your head, I am glad that we can dance on the Web. My cats are also huge, also two, and one is a redhead like my husband (when he had hair) and children. I would have read your whole site, as it was really fascinating, but I had to go pee. I bet my sister will send you some BIG CAt Photo, I'm sending her the address.. Love your site and energy and will let people know...We are not insanse...

This is a test of our new guestbook. Our apologies for those looking for entries previous to 1998. Due to an infestation of horrible computer gremlins, all records before the big site restructing were lost.
