"Rodney, it's great! You should try it."

"Play a game that takes three or four months? You gotta be joking."

"It's great. It's like roleplaying. Your player gets better and better as time goes on."

"Yeah? New levels and new skills?"

"New abilities anyway. You invest in the ones you want, like new ship types, new ... um skills for detecting the enemy, and of course you can buy more and more ships of types you already have. It's about strategy - using your resources to get what you want, and tactics, choosing how to defend against attack, and who to attack."

"But you play by yourself."

"You don't have to play by yourself. A couple of guys could go online using the same computer. You can't do that with War Draft IV!"

"Look. I wup your ankles in every game we play. How come you want me to play this one?"

"Cause this ones different. You can't beat me in this one. I'm gonna beat you."

"Remember how you said the same thing about Prince of Wings? You practised every day for 3 months before I even got a copy."

"And you practised every day for 2 months before that on John's copy. Hey! Are you already playing PA?"

Rodney grinned at Fred. "I wasn't going to tell you, cause I'm not in the top 100 yet. Next round I will be."

"Aaaah! Rodney!"

"Ah go on. Wanna go over to Jason's house after supper? We can talk while we're logged on."
