Shakira’s Belly Dance Fitness

An ancient dance transformed into a practical fitness alternative, this course is designed for women of all ages who want to improve their health & feel better about their own self-image.

Nancy combines her knowledge of dance and psychology with her fitness credentials to create a fun, uplifting, and useful dance-fitness class that you are guaranteed to enjoy and will benefit from for the rest of your life.

You will also have the opportunity to enjoy invitations to various oriental dance shows and functions where the creme de la creme of dancers from the area are featured.

Whomever you are studying with, just make sure that your body is safe from injury by practicing proper body alignment. Always protect previously injured or sensitive areas of the body and just be smart. If something hurts don’t do it and by all means, talk to your doctor before you start any new fitness regime. Above all, a proper warmup done every time you even are thinking of dancing will lessen the chances of muscle strain that might keep you from dancing forever!

Shakira’s Belly Dance Fitness Studio is located in Kemptville at 200 Sanders St. Lower Level under Boyce’s Restaurant.
